Burlington City Park hosts concerts, festivals and seasonal community celebrations at spaces such as the Jimmy Combs Stage and the park’s open lawns. Events range from laid-back summer music nights to major annual gatherings with rides, vendors and family activities.

Concerts in the Park

The summer concert series is held at the Jimmy Combs Stage, 1501 Overbrook Road. The 2026 schedule lists concerts on the second Friday of June, July and August from 7:00–9:00 p.m.

What to Bring

For lawn concerts, bring a chair or blanket and a picnic. The City notes that food and drink vendors are not provided at the City Park concert series.

Weather

Outdoor programs may be postponed or canceled because of storms or unsafe conditions, and weather decisions are often made close to the scheduled start time.

Rules

Alcohol and tobacco products are not permitted in City Park. Keep aisles and dance areas clear, supervise children and follow event-specific bag, parking and safety instructions.

Other Signature Events

The park also hosts the Burlington Carousel Festival, July 3rd in the Park and Christmas in the Park, with entertainment and activities that vary by event.

Arrival and Parking

Large events can fill ordinary park lots and may use overflow parking or shuttles, so arrive early and identify the correct entrance for the stage or activity area.
