Softball is a year-round part of Burlington City Park’s athletic identity, with five diamond fields serving practices, league games and tournaments. The surrounding park offers walking routes and family amenities that make it easier to turn a game day into a broader visit.

Fields and Facilities

City Park has five baseball and softball diamonds. Field 5 is encircled by a short walking track, and the complex is close to parking and other park facilities.

Programs

Burlington offers youth and adult softball opportunities, with schedules and registration changing by season. Team fees, age divisions and roster rules should be confirmed through the current Athletics program.

Reservations

Teams and event organizers should reserve fields through Burlington Athletics. Lights and field preparation may be tied to the reservation rather than ordinary open use.

Equipment and Safety

Bring a glove, regulation bat, protective batting helmet, water and any league-required equipment. Use age-appropriate softballs and follow posted field rules during practice.

Spectator Planning

Tournament days can be long, so spectators should prepare for sun, weather and walking between parking and the field. Portable chairs and personal shade are useful at diamonds without covered seating.
