SNOW TUBING

Snow tubing at Beech Mountain Resort is a standout winter activity that blends pure adrenaline with laid-back fun—perfect for families, friends, and thrill-seekers alike. The resort’s dedicated tubing hill features 6–8 lanes, each stretching a generous 700 feet and flanked by high-powered snowmaking guns to ensure consistently slick, fast surfaces. A convenient Magic Carpet conveyor gently brings tubers back to the top, so you can maximize the fun with minimal effort. During the day, the long lanes are lined with moguls, offering little bumps that add to the excitement, while evening “Cosmic Snow Tubing” sessions amp things up with colorful LED lights and pulsing music—an immersive, almost otherworldly descent down the mountain under the stars.

What makes Beech’s tubing experience truly enticing is how it integrates into the broader mountain vibe. Located at the base of the ski area, the tubing hill sits right next to the alpine village, making it easy to hop between sledding, skiing, and soaking in the cozy mountain ambiance . With flexible session times—standard blocks at 10 AM, noon, 2 PM, 4 PM—plus evening cosmic runs at 6 and 8 PM on weekends and weekdays, there’s something for every schedule. Height requirements (minimum 42″) keep it accessible to younger thrill-seekers, while the no-lap policy ensures everyone gets their own wild ride. It’s a hassle-free package: no gear to rent beyond warm clothes, no skills needed beyond hopping in a tube, and no waiting around—just whooshing fun surrounded by mountain charm and the possibility to follow it up with après-tubing warmth and adventure.
