WATER ZIP LINE

The water zip line is a standout thrill feature at Jellystone Park Golden Valley that lets guests launch from a raised tower and fly over the lake before plunging down into the cool water. It’s a mix of adrenaline and refreshment—perfect for those hot days when you want something more exciting than just swimming or floating. Riders get just enough speed and height to feel the rush, then splashes of fun once they hit the lake. It’s also visually dramatic, as the line arcs over the water and is surrounded by trees and mountain views.

There are age, height, and weight requirements to ride—guests must be at least 8 years old and weigh a minimum of 80 pounds to use the water zip line. It operates daily during peak season and on certain weekends outside of peak, based on the campground’s schedule. Be prepared with a life jacket (which is usually mandatory), and expect there to be instructions given and safety checks before each ride. All in all, the water zip line adds a memorable, exciting way to dip into the lake experience.
