Summer lake adventure at Fantasy Lake Water Park near Raleigh North Carolina

MINI GOLF

Mini golf at Camp Clearwater gives registered campers a fun, family-friendly way to enjoy putt-putt during their White Lake stay, with camper mini golf priced at $7.00 per person for all-day play. Camp Clearwater does not offer day passes, so visitors must be registered campers.

Mini Golf at Camp Clearwater

Clearwater Mini Golf is one of the fun family attractions available at Camp Clearwater in White Lake, North Carolina. Located right at the campground, it gives registered campers an easy way to enjoy a round of putt-putt without having to leave the property. Camp Clearwater is already built around lake days, camping, golf cart rides, beach time, playground fun, sports courts, and family activities, and mini golf adds one more simple, laid-back thing for families to enjoy together during their stay.

What Makes Mini Golf Special

Mini golf at Camp Clearwater is special because it feels like part of the full White Lake vacation experience. Families can spend the day swimming in the lake, relaxing at the campsite, riding around the campground, or joining in on activities, then head over for a round of putt-putt when they want something easy and fun to do together. It is a good activity for kids, parents, grandparents, and groups because it does not require a lot of planning — just show up, play a round, and enjoy some friendly competition.

Clearwater Mini Golf also has that classic campground treat-stop feel. In addition to putt-putt, the mini golf area has been promoted as a place to enjoy ice cream, shaved ice, and sweet treats like Dippin’ Dots. That makes it more than just a mini golf course — it is also a nice little stop for families who want something cold after swimming, a treat after dinner, or a fun evening activity before heading back to the campsite.

Season and Hours

Mini golf access is generally tied to campground operations, weather, staffing, and the seasonal schedule.

Camp Clearwater’s office hours are listed as:

Fall/Winter/Spring:
Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Summer:
Sunday–Thursday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Friday–Saturday: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 a.m.

Because mini golf hours may not always match office hours, guests should check with the campground office, camp store, or Clearwater Mini Golf’s Facebook page for the most current hours, treat availability, and any temporary changes.

Pricing

Mini golf admission is available to registered Camp Clearwater campers for $7.00 per person for all-day play. That means campers can play more than one round during the day without paying each time, making it an easy, affordable activity for families who want something fun to do between swimming, meals, golf cart rides, and campground events.

Camp Clearwater does not offer day passes, so mini golf is not available as a standalone public day-use activity for outside visitors. Guests who want to play mini golf should plan to book a camping stay at the campground.

Since mini golf is available to campers, the overall cost of visiting depends on the camping season and campsite. For in-season camping from April through October 31, overnight camping rates generally range from $70.00 to $125.00 per night. For off-season camping from November 1 through March 31, overnight camping rates generally range from $40.00 to $50.00 per night.

For Harvest Party Weekend, which takes place on Halloween weekend, all sites are listed at $150.00 per night. This special event rate applies during that holiday weekend.

Guests bringing a personal golf cart should also know that proof of liability insurance is required at their first 2025 visit, and a $40.00 fee is required for a Golf Cart Pass.

Booking

Guests can enjoy mini golf by booking a camping stay at Camp Clearwater. Reservations can typically be made through the campground’s online booking system or by calling the office directly. Because rates vary by season, site type, and special-event weekends, visitors should confirm their exact camping cost before booking.

Advance mini golf reservations do not appear to be required for casual play. Once guests arrive, they should check with the campground office, camp store, or mini golf area to confirm hours, where to get clubs and balls, and whether ice cream, shaved ice, Dippin’ Dots, or other treats are available during their stay.

Need to Know Before Going

Mini golf at Camp Clearwater should be viewed as one of the included perks of camping there, not as a separate public attraction. Since day passes are not available, visitors will need to be registered campers or approved campground guests to access the course. Families should confirm mini golf availability before arrival if it is an important part of the trip, especially during off-season dates, rainy weather, or busy event weekends.

Guests should bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a little extra spending money for treats if the ice cream, shaved ice, or Dippin’ Dots are open. For the smoothest visit, confirm current campground rates, office hours, visitor policies, check-in rules, golf cart rules, and mini golf availability before heading to White Lake.
