SNOWBOARDING

At Cataloochee Ski Area in Maggie Valley, NC, snowboarding is a welcoming and fun experience for riders at all levels, particularly those looking for relaxed terrain with reliable conditions. The resort features a terrain park designed for boarders, and despite its modest vertical drop, its consistent snowmaking system ensures solid coverage throughout the season. What sets it apart is the combination of laid‑back mountain charm, short lift lines, and a community‑friendly vibe that makes it easy for beginners or intermediates to feel confident and for more seasoned boarders to enjoy smooth runs and terrain‑park features. Nestled high in the Smoky Mountains, its elevation gives you crisp mountain air and scenic runs without the crowds or pressure of a larger resort.
